Hello Friends, and welcome
to our classroom web site. My name is Mrs. Howard.
I am a wife, a mother, and a teacher. I have been teaching for 31 years in grades 1-3.
For six of those years, I have been teaching Second Grade at this
wonder school, Walnut Grove Elementary.
I graduated from MercerUniversity
with a Bachelors Degree and later, a Masters Degree in Education.
After receiving my L-5 Certification in Curriculum and Supervision from
the University
of Georgia,
I continued my educational endeavors by earning my Specialist Degree in
Administration from the State University of West Georgia. I am
currently working on my doctorate degree in Education Administration at
Clark-Atlanta University.
However, being in the classroom is still my delight.
When I'm not at school in the classroom,
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am happily
married and have been for 30 years. My wonderful husband, Guy and I have a son, Guy II who
is 26 years old. Guy II is married his wonderful wife, Susan. Now, we have the daughter that we always wanted. They live in
Maryland where Guy II works as a computer engineer for our government.
My hobbies include gourmet
cooking, reading, and traveling when time permits.
